  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 cups pecan halves


  1. Preheat oven to 175F.
  2. Mix brown sugar, flour and salt in a bowl and set aside. In another bowl, beat egg white until foamy; slowly beat in sugar mixture. Fold in pecans. Transfer pecans to a parchment-lined baking pan. Spread in a single layer. Bake about 1½ hours. Cool completely. Break pecans apart.
